Why Choose Summer?

Education Sites: Complete work while students are off-site, and return in September fully compliant.

Infrastructure: Take advantage of quieter schedules and reduce downtime.

Commercial Buildings: Use low-occupancy periods to carry out non-disruptive tank replacements, TMV installs, dead leg removals and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are reactive and remedial plumbing works?

Reactive works are immediate actions taken in response to urgent issues or failures, such as a broken water heater, a burst pipe, or a malfunctioning TMV. These address problems as they arise to restore safe operation.

Remedial works are corrective actions taken to resolve issues identified in a Legionella Risk Assessment or compliance audit. This includes replacing old or corroded water tanks, removing dead legs, installing TMVs, improving pipework design, and addressing risks that could lead to Legionella growth or water inefficiency.

Why is summer the best time to carry out this work?

Summer provides a quieter period for many sites- schools are empty, transport schedules may be lighter, and commercial buildings often have reduced occupancy. This means work can be done with minimal disruption to your operations while ensuring your systems are safe and compliant before autumn.

What regulations do you help us comply with?

We help you meet the requirements of:

  • ACoP L8 (Legionella control)

  • BS8558 (Design & commissioning of water systems)

  • The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999

  • HSG274 and other guidance related to water hygiene and system safety.

Are your engineers qualified to do this work?

Yes. All our engineers are fully trained and our company is WaterSafe accredited- a national mark of approval that verifies our expertise, professionalism, and compliance with industry best practice.

How do I know if I need remedial works?

If your latest Legionella Risk Assessment highlighted any system issues, or if your system hasn't been reviewed in 2 years it’s worth getting in touch. We can help you identify and prioritise works before they become urgent or non-compliant.

How soon can you start work?

We’re actively booking summer slots between July and September, but availability is limited. We recommend enquiring early to secure your preferred timeframe.
